2220hrs
one of the greatest silat representatives in Singapura passed away peacefully on his hospital bed. doctors told that he would lived up to 2 years. 2 years. but after a week when his son married, he was gone. and that person, that person is my favourite uncle.
time passed us so fast and you never knew, who will be going next. and yet i am so far away from him when he passed away. i still remember, whenever he visit my house, he will hug me and carry me. and when his family is about leave, he will asked me and my brother to kiss him on the cheek and we would run away.
2006, his body starts to fail. nobody knew why. the doctors said theres nothing wrong with him. traditional doctors said that somebody envy him so much, that he or she cursed him. still no cure. no cure.
liked a human vegetable, his hands started to fail first, before it creeps down to his legs and his body altogether. bounded to a wheelchair to move around. even his mouth, his mouth starts to fail. he blabbers and only his wife, understands him. so helpless yet we all try to put our efforts to cure him.
rest in peace Arwah Jamaludin Jamil.

People do not die for us immediately, but remain bathed in a sort of aura of life which bears no relation to true immortality but through which they continue to occupy our thoughts in the same way as when they were alive. It is as though they were traveling abroad.
